I’m not really sure what all you put in “Abouts” so I’m just going to ramble on a bit.

What to say, what to say?  I’m Nicole.  I work in at a tech company and have a very nice, very stressful,  very well paying job.  I like to write in my spare time and hope to be able to say I’m a published writer in the near future.  I like reading and books and fall in love with characters fairly easily.

To this point most of my time and energy has been spent working on a novel, a novella and a crapton of fan fiction.  All of which I am very proud.  If you would like to check out my writing style, feel free to visit my AO3 page and read some of my fic.  My  original stuff is. of course, original and so has a lot more focus on world building and character motivation than my fic does, but you can get a fairly decent idea of what my writing is like by reading the free fic.  And, maybe, if you like it well enough you will be inclined to, you know, pay for my original stuff once it comes on market.  *grins*

Um…

I’m in my thirties.  I have a smallish child.  I own my own home.  It’s really a lovely home.  I am into sewing and quilting and I collect tea pots because I’m secretly fifty.  I own more books than I can fit easily on my bookshelves. I’m fanish and proud.  My favorite movie is Dancehall Queen.  I am a vegetarian for health reasons and really, really miss eating meat.  I have a twitter and a tumblr and a livejournal— though I rarely do anything with that anymore.

Anyway.  It’s writing that the main focus of this blog and writing is pretty much all I’ll be talking about, though I’m sure other details of my life will bleed through.  Hopefully it’s the writing that will keep people coming back, though.
